Helin Burkay

Helin Burkay is a writer and artist based in Ottawa. She holds a PhD in Sociology (2016) and has been writing about culture, politics, and art. Some of her writing is published in journals and edited books. She was an adjunct curator with the Ingenium-Canada’s Museum of Science and Technology between 2022 and 2024. As a self-taught artist, she has been working with watercolour, acrylic, and found objects.
